I bought this for my son who loves to “cook”. He has had a wonderful time preparing “Christmas dinner” as well as “opening a resturant”. The set offers a good variety of baking toys. The pieces are small, but seem fairly durable.

I bought this for my granddaughter’s fourth birthday. At the manufacturer’s web site I was able to buy a set of two for only more.This was perfect as the 4 yr. old has a 2 yr. old sister (although most toys have a 3 yr. old and up warning). When she opened it at the birthday party she beamed as she LOVES CUPCAKES. She realized there were two and, I am proud to say, she said, “Look sissy, there’s one for you, too.” Their 6 yr. old cousin came to me & asked if I would buy this for his birthday, too. We got this for our daughter on a 1st birthday because she loves playing with water. I had seen many bad reviews on it due to pump problems. But I knew she would love it whether or not the water flowed from the faucet. And since Step2 is a reputable company it would send out a new pump if needed. We have had it for 3 months and so far we have had no problems whatsoever. It is set up in our kitchen because I think using it outside where grass and dirt can get in the water could cause problems with the pump. It comes with a strainer, cup, funnel and spinning waterwheel. All the accessories can hang on the rim of the sink. I only wish there was a drain to make emptying all the water out easier. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone with a young child who loves to play with water.

Our daughter, age 2, and all her cousins, boys and girls ages 1-8, love this kitchen and play with it for hours.
One slight change I would ask is that there be more baskets that fit into the cabinets, etc. so that we can store away the food and cookware items when we want to clean up. The kids like to organize the items, so right now they’re using disposable plastic containers from our real kitchen. But they don’t fit very well.
I highly recommend this item. It is well-made and thought out.
